What Happens in Vegas, Ends up Being Blogged About

So, it seems that there is some kind of big BlogFest or something coming up in the first part of November.  OK, technically it is called Blog World Expo and it is November 7th, 8th, and 9th.  The folks who bring you this blog and other outstanding b5media blogs are going to be having an entire day devoted to them there and they would like those of us who are blogging for them to talk about it.

Sadly, I will not be able to attend.  I don’t think I can get away from my full-time gig to fly off to Vegas.  However, if you happen to BE in Vegas or are planning on attending this festival of Blogging-ness, then there are a couple of things you should know about as it associated with b5media.

Poker GameWe’re also going to have a poker table in our booth- we will be giving away prizes such as iphones, wiis, ipods, xbox’s, etc. How it works is attendees can collect b5 chips throughout the conference in several ways:-          Be seen wearing a b5media T-shirt          $1000 chip-          Answer b5media trivia                                   $500 chip-          Tell us our secret password                         $500 chip-          Awesome swag trade                                    (depends on how good the swag is J)-          Drop business card in box                            $250 chip-          Use your chips to play poker and win (or lose L) even more!-          Beat b5media’s CEO- Jeremy Wright- and DOUBLE your chancesEach day, we will have an auction in our booth (at 2:30 Thursday and Friday) and attendees can use their chips to bid on the prizes. As noted, we will be doing a secret password. You blog the password, and we will be putting in on the b5 blog. We have one that you can put up now and then I will send out updated ones throughout the conference that you can put up on your blog so that attendees will keep going back to your blog to be able to get more chips. Participants only need to approach someone in our booth with the password and they will get a token. For example, the password might be something like: “b5alicious”.

OK, I hope I have not given anything away I shouldn’t have here.  Did I just give away a contest?

Anyway, the above information was sent to me from someone within b5media and I hope I don’t tick her off for, essentially, publishing her helpful hints as I received them.
