Yes, I am going to be the first to admit that I have been extraordinarily lazy this week.  Well, that’s not entirely true, because I have been searching through YouTube for more jazz concerts and such, but I guess that really can’t qualify as work.  I have been enjoying it too much!

I can’t get enough of YouTube.  I shouldn’t write about them so much, I suppose and you can just as easily spend half your day doing searches there like I have been doing.  Still, I am trying to save you some time and effort by pointing you to the great jazz performances.

I have completely fallen in love with the stuff on YouTube.  Well, that is to say, I was already wasting for too much time hanging around looking at stuff on YouTube, but now that I found some very cool concert footage of some of the artists I talk about here, I can’t stop looking.  You knew it was only a matter of time before I looked up some Miles Davis stuff.

I feel like I am driving this into the ground and if you are sick of me talking about Oscar Peterson, I apologize.  It’s just that, well, he was a musician I truly had a fondness for, but, at the same time, it had been a while since I had pulled out the Oscar Peterson records and CDs and took a listen.  It’s one of those moments like realizing that someone is gone and you meant to make a phone call to them the other day, but something else came up and you didn’t and now it’s too late.

It’s that time again.  Yes, I am too lazy to do any actual research about musicians.  I am quite overdo to write another article about one of the classical jazz musicians I love so much.  This entire blog is just aching for an official Miles Davis history lesson.  The problem is, that is a little like trying to tackle Mt.
