This Weekend in Jazz in Chicago

This Weekend in Jazz in Chicago

It is, at last, the weekend. Most of the city of Chicago is caught up in the infamous “Crosstown Classic” which is when the Chicago White Sox baseball team and the Chicago Cubs bseball team face off in inter-league play. Surviving the Deep Freeze

The weather for the Chicago area calls for the coldest weekend of the winter so far.  When I last saw a weather man talking about Saturday the guy was saying that the high temperature will be 6 degrees.  Yes, that is a six and not a 16.
It’s tough during this time of year, especially in the Chicago area and other Midwestern towns.  The warm and fuzzy feelings of the holidays are over  and now it’s just cold and gray.  Personally, I love winter, so it doesn’t bother me, but even I have my limits.
It’s the perfect time to try and get …read more
