Last Chance for Buddy

by balaspa on January 26th, 2008

Throughout the month I have been talking about Buddy Guy and how not only is he a living legend, but that he was playing every weekend at his club this month.  If you want to see more about Buddy Guy’s Legends, you can click HERE and check out all kinds of stuff.

Well, the time is running out to see this guitar virtuoso play live and in person.  Once again, I can say that seeing Buddy perform live is like nothing you have ever seen before.  It is also a truly amazing experience to see him in a setting like his club where you can almost literally reach out and touch the guy.  In fact, if past performances are any indication, Buddy may reach out and touch YOU.

Most of the remaining performances on the weekend are sold out.  That’s just the way it goes.  Sometimes to see a legend, you have to make sacrifices, like going during a weekday and risk being sleep deprived the next day at work.

Wednesday January 30th

Buddy Guy@10:30

Dave Spector& Tad Robinson@9

Thursday January 31st- SOLD OUT

Buddy Guy@10:30

Wayne Baker Brooks@9

Acoustic set@ 5:30

That’s pretty much it at this point.  Buddy, of course, is a world-wide talent and is probably planning on going on another tour of the world after this stint at his own place.  Let’s not forget that the blues played at Legends throughout the year is first-class and it’s a great place to see great live music no matter what time of year it is.
