Back Online and Chicago Jazz and Blues Events
Hello there faithful reader. As you may have noticed, there have been some minor technical difficulties this week with the b5media websites such as the Jazz and Blues Lounge. Well, in a way, it was all because of very good things. Namely, so many people have started to read these fantastic music blogs, the server ran into issues.
It was a bit like the weather that delayed me getting back from St. Louis to Chicago this week. It was coming, you could do all you could to try and prepare, but it happens. When it happens, you just have to buckle up and sit tight and hope the storm passes without destroying everything.
Thanks to the incredible hard work and extremely long nights among the technical people at b5media, things are now back up and running. Guys with names like Aaron, Lee, and Brian all worked their tails off, many times literally all night or while sick, to get things running again. So, a big thanks to them.
So, sorry for any technicaly hiccups you may have run across checking out this site. Things have settled. However, I am not even going to try and promise you it won’t happen again. Heck, if my blog were to shut things down because of the sheer crush of readers, I might actually take some pride in it.
