A Random (or not so Random..) MySpace Page

This is going to be a quick one today.  I was sitting at my day job listening to this online jazz radio station.  I had another one of those moments when I heard music that made me stop what I was doing, check out who the artist was, write it down and then look it up later.

The artist is Sean Jones.  He’s from Pittsburgh.  He has a MySpace page you can get to right here.  There’s a bunch of cool tunes you can check out there for free.  You know me, I dig the trumpet players.

He also has a website at www.seanjonesmusic.com.  He appears to have a new album out from this past August called “Kaleidoscope.”

For those of you in Chicago, Sean will be appearing at the Green Mill on October 19.  The show starts at 8 pm.  He will be there with the Sean Jones Sextet.  For more information on that check out  Greenmilljazz.com. 

I wish I had more time to write today, but I just felt I had to get this one out to ya.  I can’t believe it’s October already!
