A Couple of Websites You May Want to Check Out
Just doing some surfing around this thing they call the World Wide Web and I found a couple of websites about jazz that I thought I would share with you. The strange thing is, well, that they are a bit strange. The first one is “Classic Jazz Stories” which is written and maintained by a guy named Jim Cullum, Jr.
It is here that you can find the following tales:
I haven’t the first clue who this guy is who created the website, or where he collected these stories, or even if any of them are true. However, what else do you have to do on a Friday when you are sitting there at work? Try to look busy? Please…
Then there is the website “Jazz Photos” and this is truth in website naming like you wouldn’t believe. There is a huge collection of photos related in some way, shape or form to the world of jazz and jazz musicians. There is also a section right on the page linked there called “Jazz Stories by William Gottlieb.”
All in all, they were just two very cool websites that managed to entertain me a great bit today in between answering the phone, trying to get the company website updated, wondering how I was going to make more money and filing. You gotta love filing, right?
So, I find something cool, I share it with you and here it is…show and tell.
