Ribfest!
Yes, nothing like combining jazz and ribs at the legendary Chicago Jazz Club, the Gale Street Inn. The event is August 1 throuh August 12th. It’s a great way to help the Inn celebrate their anniversary.

The Green Mill
Renowned for its jazz and poetry slams, the Green Mill has a full slate of musical performances for all of July. A Green Mill Quartet Jam Session happens every Friday night, for example. After hours jazz with Sabertooth is scheduled for every Saturday night. Frank Catalino and his trio perform every Thursday.

Jazz Fest Glen Ellyn
The only remaining jazz radio station in the city, WDCB, is sponsoring a Jazz Fest in suburban Glen Ellyn. The festival is July 14 from 3 – 8 pm. The event is located between Crescent Blvd. and Pennsylvania Ave. in downtown Glen Ellyn. The event is FREE.
